Dates with scheduled events have a yellow highlight and are
linked to the description below. Dates without a yellow
hightlight are very, very boring and should be avoided at
all cost. Today's date is in bold. To list an event, follow
the instructions at the bottom of this page.
Ongoing
Burn Night! Every Monday at the Lower Level, 1621 12th Ave
on Capitol Hill, burners of all stripes gather to do
whatever it is burners do when they gather. Check it out.
8:30pm-ish.
January
No events are scheduled for January yet. Sad, isn't it?
Maybe you should do something about it and throw a party.
February
The February calendar is annoyingly empty, and it's all
your fault. Why don't you invite us all over to your place?
Submit an Event!
Do you know of an event that needs to be listed here? If
so, please read the following and then submit the info!
Do Not Submit Events At This Time!
As you may have heard, this entire site is in the process
of being rebuilt. Please wait until a brand-spanking new
site is unveiled before you send in your event information!
Criteria: Ideally, the event should have something to do
with Burning Man and it should be happening in the Seattle
area.
* Events should be related to Burning Man. Theme Camp
fundraisers are valid; regional events for the whole
community are valid; general rave-ish blowouts are not
valid. One more thing... saying "the guy who is running the
lights went to Burning Man in 2001" does not make it a
Burning Man event.
* If it is not a Burning Man related event, it should have
a strong appeal to burners. Who makes the final decision on
this? I do! I'll tell you this much: I do not list music
festivals, even if they do feature DJ Larry Harvey.
* An out of town event will only be posted if it is West
coast and it's something people are likely to travel to.
The San Francisco decompression party is a good example.
* Announcements sent in less than a week before the event
are not likely to be posted. I only update the site about
once, maybe twice a week, so please plan ahead.
* Important: Events must be submitted through this form
ONLY. If they are submitted through email, I'm just going
to ask you to come back here and do it the right way.
